Health & Safety

KEA take health and safety extremely seriously and nothing is more important than the welfare of our staff, trade contractors and visitors to all our sites. KEA employs a team of independent auditors that undertake safety audits on all our sites and activities including assessment of our site specific RAMS. KEA is also a member of constructionline, Safecontractor, fully committed to CSCS for all operatives. We take our lead from the Health & Safety Executive, ensuring that all our activities exceed the regulations set out by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.

Environmental

KEA is taking positive steps to reduce its own carbon footprint – from the office environment to the manufacturing process. Wherever possible we control emissions, recycle, use renewable resources and conserve energy. We recognise it is a measure by which we are judged by our staff, clients and business partners, and therefore is a critical factor for our business and its long term success. We regularly engage with authorities, clients and our supply chain to promote the use of recyclable and reusable materials. We develop Environmental Action Plans for each of our projects, to ensure that every option is considered to reduce and / or eliminate activates that have a negative impact on the environment.

Quality Control

We organise our management skills and use our resources in the most efficient manner to produce projects of the highest standard and quality. We always ensure quality control standards are maintained by using the best construction practices within our core activities. Quality starts at the beginning of a project and is a priority throughout the whole construction process. There are always ways of doing things better, so we constantly seek ways to enhance our project delivery service. Assurance systems are a fundamental component of our business philosophy and these systems span all phases of the project life cycle, from preliminary feasibility analysis and concept development through to final commissioning of a project. Our systems are continually audited as part of our progress towards achieving EN ISO 9001: 2008 certified Quality Management System. KEA’s Quality Manual defines our objectives and key procedures to be applied to each project to ensure that Client and Design Team expectations and specifications are achieved.

Sustainability

KEA is constantly working to reduce the environmental footprint of its products and services, and its supply chain to achieve the most sustainable methods of delivering projects. Including regularly completing BREEAM and SKA assessments for office fit-outs, and the code for sustainble homes scheme for residential builds.
